Vertical Module v2
Take all your slide movements to the steepest vertical angles, without sacrificing speed, silent operation or long battery life. Make your shots instantly one level higher

Vertical Module v2 for SliderPLUS v6
What's new with v2

Your storytelling is no longer limited to the horizontal plane.

A vertical motion solution in true edelkrone style — unconventional, yet surprisingly advantageous.

Patented Tension Wire Advantage
The idea of using a tension wire to achieve vertical motion that is quiet, fast, power-efficient, and portable is a patented and uniquely edelkrone approach.

Other solutions typically require stronger motors, larger batteries, and result in noisier operation. Without compromising on any of these factors, we introduced our own distinctive method to cinematography — elevating SliderPLUS, already one of the most efficient tools in filmmaking, to an entirely new level of capability.

Double Distance in Vertical
The Vertical Module lets you achieve the full range of motion without compromising SliderPLUS’s miraculous Double Distance feature.
This allows you to capture highly dramatic shots that can move all the way down to ground level.

Time-lapse & Stop Motion Ready
Vertical Module enables SliderPLUS to capture stunning time-lapses at any slide angle.

Tech Specs
- Spring Box Unit
- L Bracket
With Vertical Module v2, the system can lift a total of 11.4 lb (5.2 kg) camera setup in a fully vertical setup.
This includes the 5.7 lb (2.6 kg) HeadPLUS v3 plus an additional 5.7 lb (2.6 kg) for your camera body, lens, batteries, and any HeadPLUS add-ons.
The edelkrone Power Module (sold separately) is highly recommended for vertical setups. It allows you to remove the batteries mounted on HeadPLUS or SliderPLUS—batteries that would otherwise consume part of the system’s lifting capacity.
Instead, you can power the entire system with a single external battery placed in a fixed position, not moving with the slider. This frees up valuable carrying capacity for your camera, lens, and HeadPLUS add-ons, enabling you to mount heavier gear and get the most out of your setup’s vertical motion range.
Spring Box Unit: 1623 grams
L Bracket: 672 grams
